Field Definition Settings

Field Definitions can have a number of settings applied to them to control their behaviour and the behaviour of Fields in an object.

The Settings fall into the following categories

Category	Descrption
Behaviour	Control special behaviour for a field.
Visibility	Control who can see a field.
Dashboard	Make the contents of a field appear on a user dashboard.
Derived Field	Automatically set the contents of a field using formulae or templates
Validation	Make a field mandatory and control what values are allowed.

These Settings can be edited using the Data Definition Editor or the Form Editor.
