Assignment Rules Settings

Assignment Rules have a number of settings to control the assignment of Reviewers to Submissions.

Allowed Submission Status

Control which submission statuses can be assigned to Reviewers.

Note

More than one setting is allowed.

If no Allowed Submission Status settings are set then submissions in ANY status may be assigned. This setting controls the grid of submissions available on the Assignment screen.

Example

Abstract Review, Paper Review

Note

Make sure the Review Type specifies a Status Link for every Allowed Submission Status otherwise assignment will fail.

Additional Reviewers for Matching Submissions

Allow other Reviewers to see a review. See Additional Reviewers.

Number of Reviews Per Reviewer

Note

This setting is used for System Assignment only.

Control the maximum number of reviews that each Reviewer is assigned.

Number of Reviews Per Submission

Note

This setting is used for System Assignment only.

Control the minimum and maximum number of reviews that each Submission is given.

Field Match

Note

This setting is used for System Assignment only.

Control how Submissions are matched to Reviewers during assignment.

Field Match Score

Note

This setting is used for System Assignment only.

Specify the minimum and/or maximum total score that field matches must have in order for a submission to be assigned. The first number is the minimum score and the second number is the maximum score.

Leave the maximum score empty if there is no maximum.
