Reviewing Configuration Concepts

The reviewing process in Smart Submissions is extremely flexible and configurable.

It may help to understand some of the following reviewing concepts:

Reviewing Types

Each project can have one or more reviewing types

Example

Reviewer, Judge, Panel Member

These define who the reviewers are.

Review Types

Each Reviewing Type can have one or more Review Types

These define the reviews that can be made of different Submission Types or of the same Submission Type at different stages in their Workflow

Review Forms

Each Review Type can have one or more Review Forms for collecting information from a Reviewer about a Submission.
