Reviewing Type

A Reviewing Type defines a type of Reviewer and the labels to use for the reviewing process associated with that Reviewer.

The Reviewing Type also defines the Review Mode.

Any number of Reviewing Types can be added to a project (See Add Reviewing Type).

Properties

Note

Smart uses the following Conventions for labels but any labels can be used for any Reviewing Type.

Each Reviewing Type has the following properties

Name

The unique name for the new Reviewing Type

Reviewer Singular Label

The label to use when displaying a single Reviewer of this type.

Reviewer Plural Label

The label to use when displaying a single Reviewer of this type.

Reviewer Data Definition

The Data Definition to use for the Reviewers.

Different Reviewing Types can use the same or different Data Definitions as required.

Assign Label

The label to use for assignment in the present tense.

Example

Assign the submision to the reviewer.

Assigned Label

The label to use for assignment in the past tense.

Example

The submision was Assigned to the reviewer.

Review Singular

The label to use for a single Review managed by Reviewers of this type.

A Reviewer may have more than one type of Review that they mangage. In this case a generic label should be used.

Example

If a Reviewer has Abstract Reviews and Paper Reviews then the label Review would be suitable.

Review Plural

The label to use for a multiple Reviews managed by Reviewers of this type.

A Reviewer may have more than one type of Review that they mangage. In this case a generic label should be used.

Example

If a Reviewer has Abstract Reviews and Paper Reviews then the label Reviews would be suitable.

The Mode to choose for this type of Reviewer. See Review Mode
